For skilled skaters: Kasberg high-altitude trail at 1,600 m! The gondola takes you to this special experience.

  • Length: 1.5 km
  • Accessible via: 8er-gondola, 12er-gondola
  • Skaters need valid lift ticket.
  • X-country skiing trail is partly also used by snowshoe hikers!

 

Grünau x-country skiing trail

... through the Village

A total of five km of x-country skiing trails lead through the centre of Grünau: Kesselboden (start at Sportplatz) with three kilometres and Bahnhof (start at Grünau station) with two kilometres.  Get to know your holiday destination on XC skis!

  • Level: ideal for beginners and advanced

Almtal xc skiing trail Mühldorf- in Scharnstein

Relax

The ideal trail for beginners and pleasure xc skiers! – no ascents, no descents! Relaxed xc skiing on five kilometres leading from Scharnstein glider airfield to Fischerbühel and back.

  • Length: 5 km
  • Level: ideal for beginners and pleasure xc skiers
  • Start and finish: parking of Scharnstein glider airfield or Mühldorf tennis court
     

Almtal xc skiing trail Almegg in Scharnstein

This xc skiing trail leads to the tree line at Fischerbühel and then to Hauergrabenbach in Almegg. From there you return to the starting point.

  • Length: 12 km
  • Level: advanced xc skiers
  • Start and finish: parking of Scharnstein glider airfield or Mühldorf tennis court

Almtal xc skiing trail Viechtwang in Scharnstein

Via Seewiese to Riding Hall

From the gliding airfield towards Seewiese, then from the riding hall to Viechtwang and back to the start. Note: federal road has to be crossed on the way to and back from the riding hall.

  • Length: 4 km
  • Level: intermediate; for advanced xc skiers
  • Start and finish: Scharnstein glider airfield

 

Skaters: parking of Scharnstein glider airfield is starting point for a popular skating trail! This five-kilometre tour is only groomed with sufficient snow cover!
